Bf was enjoying Burnout 3 takedown now, but I was looking for more F1 racing instead of street racing....any games mentioned are the F1 type racing?

Grand Tourismo is pretty much the del facto "standard" as far as racing(simulation) games go. You can probably pick up GTA3 pretty cheap, or 4 is fine. There is so much to do in that game it will last you a long time.
You may also want to try the Need for Speed games. NFS Underground 1and 2, Most Wanted and Carbon. The races include circuits, drags, drift, etc. Best of all you can customize your car(s).
I enjoy the Burnout series. It's fun trying to destroy your opponent. Sorry, only one I can really suggest since I have not enjoyed driving in circles with the other games. Gran Turismo might be a good one to look up as well.
Really want to play the new gen Burnout. When you "take down" your opponent, the camera will activate 1 second after the crash and show what your opponent looks like at that time. XD
That Game with Mountain Bikes and you go down mountains...arghhh brain fart. ohh & Burnout Fun Fun Fun
I like Everywhere: Road Trip most as far as racing games go. Manily because it has car soccer, and rock climbig, and assorted weird mini-games like that. Here's a link to my review on it:

But for "actual" racing, Corvette's a pretty good game.
I never played any just wonder which ones I should get? :P (You could tell I'm really eager to get "educated" on PS2 by the # of posts I made....LOL)
F1 2001 is a good one, but I think it's a rare title to find nowadays. My friend is mentions that you should check out Grand Prix Challenge. Cheers :)
