Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Played it at a friends house and was just floored at how beautiful the graphics were and how much fun the game was to play! That was a year or so after the PS2 came out and its still the only console I use, though I do also play PC games. Started trading games a few months ago and its opened up a whole new world of fun! Just finished Silent Hill3 and have been playing Mercenaries... both great games. Have another 25 or so games in the "queue" to play, which should last me a while. :) Will probably buy a PS3 at some point, but not really in a rush.

Ha, ha! So Pcktint, you didn't pay the original $400 price then, huh! Ya well, I was a dork and we really wanted it! At least it was a bundle pack with a game and all...
And, yes, Nuriko, the prices are WAY low now for the PS2! That is why I should just go get the updated Slim PS2 while I wait for the price of the PS3 to go down.... Got to love eBay!

I paid $77 for mine around 3 months ago off ebay, with 1 game, memory card and 3 controllers. :P

lol, dang was the ps2 really that expensive? I don't remember. Yea, I should wait for the PS3 to drop in price again, but I really want the 60GB before there is no more.

Ha, ha, ha! Wow! So, the first one you got you paid the full four hundred dollar price for? Ha, ha! Boy I'll bet your brother was happy!! LOL! I paid the full $400 while being excited for the new updated version, but I regreted not waiting for the price to go down as it did two weeks after I bought it. So this is why I am waiting for a while for the price of the PS3 to go down...

That's cool, I never had a console prior to the PS2. Always been a PC gamer. Not having to upgrade the system to play games for X amount of years is pretty awesome. So now my computer just sits there and I watch movies on it sometimes. :)

We didn't buy ours for one game in paticular. We had a PS1 so we just had to get the updated version of the Playstation. And it played all of the other games we already had.

I had purchased one earlier when it first came out to play Metal Gear 2 and SSX Tricky. But my brother took the system when he moved out, so I had to repurchase another one, but this time I waited until there was a bundle for $150 + tax. I Got the network adaptor, 2 games, DVD remote, and a memory card (I think). I sold the 2 games and DVD remote to purchase Burnout 3 and Fatal Frame 3. ^__^
