About Me

===ATTENTION! The SWITCH Code!!!

I price my stuff fairly and I expect the people who switch with me to

do the same. If you want to switch with me you better be an honest

switcher! If you have your prices above what I can go buy it new for on

Amazon then don't bother requesting something from me. So stop scamming

your fellow switchers and join in on the fun by adding stuff to the

system and switching it for fair prices. Together we can make this an

amazing place to socialize and save some cash along the way.
I haven't had a chance to check yet & see if anything I'm offering is available on Amazon for less-if it is I'm real willing to negotiate. In fact I'm pretty willing to negotiate, period-I'm new, so I don't have many ideas yet about what sorts of things to offer. I noticed Phoenix suggested that prices should include about 3 switchbucs for mailing costs & that sounds fair to me. Thanks for reading this![/si

1habiba .. ,,,
Some situations:
(1) Actually, I meant you shld nt price so low since you pay for shipping yourself.... 'Coz quite a few newbies, charge 1, 2, 3 Sb for their items...
(2) ... Normally, 6, 7 SB items I switch with are disc only,since they're light; as compared to some books; which maybe heavier...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(3) ... But if they're in the 10 Sb and above, we usually just follow the SP.com recommended pricing..
Hope that helps!
Anyhow, I just wanted to say what a really excellent,
creative idea this site is-supporting ecological & social
responsibility's deeply important to me, & I never would've
expected to be able to do it this way! This site's inspiring,
& I'm definitely going to spread the word about it to my
friends."
As some newbies tend to come in and forget bout it.
or offer deals...
Hi, 1habiba ,Welcome to SwitchPlanet.com !!!
~~~When you have time, please fill up your profile and items to help other

members know and more likely to switch/SWITCH with you better.

===click HELP link above to get basic info.... === see the SP Forums link above and go to (NewMembers)

where other veteran switchers can help answer your questions, including questions other new members have asked....

=== Some general advice up front I have gathered from other new
switchers... (1)Pricing...click on the item that you have set up to see
how other switchers price their items. (some are reasonable prices,
some are not. If none, search for similar items)... If you're LikeNew
pricing, switchers usually expect it to contain a more complete
package (disc + art + case) in LikeNew condition (not disc only )...
(2)Note only on items pricing 0,1,2 Switchbuc prices, (Unless you're
making special arrangements with the requester) I feel, an item should
have a minimum of 3 SB to cover your shipping costs. Tip: Offer deals
(say, Buy1book, Get1book!) in your (About Me) ... (3)For newbies only:
You Do Not have to feel obligated to accept any requested switch until
you feel comfortable in your first switch transaction. Be polite and
explain/reply to their profile with something like...>> I,m
new/Let me explore/I didnt know! << You can give them first
option/dibs to accept your new arrangement. ... (4)If they are impolite

(perhaps they are eager to get it), contact SUPPORT...

(5) Here's some helpful Forum tips, especially for mailing and former Pe_rf__x....

WELCOME to SwitchPlanet!!! If you haven't already, I recommend filling out your profile a bit (your country and state/province, a bit o' basic info about yourself) and mark your profile as 'Public' rather than 'Private' so that other members can get a sense of who you are - tends to increase switch requests! Another way to increase requests for your items is to ensure your account preferences are set to switch with BOTH American and Canadian members -- there are large numbers of members in both countries, and there's very little difference in shipping costs (usually less than 20 cents more than mailing domestically). Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have, either by visiting the Getting Started - New Members section of the forum, or by clicking the 'Reply' link above this message, which will allow you to leave a comment on my profile directly. Happy Switching!!!! Redd.
