Wrong version of Spartacus sent! 1960 version was pictured, I received the 2004 version. Plus disc was mailed in a plain paper sleeve. Not impressed.

Just for FYI....The mailer should be a more secure such as a "clam shell' or other protector. The postal service does not handle them with kit gloves....thanks

Hi Lynn...yes I did notice the differences..that's fine..I'm sure my grandson will still enjoy them. As for the requests...I'd like to offer them but the out of the ones you want, they all come with the kind of cardboard cases..you know what I mean? the artwork is part of the cases. So if you wanted them for 10sb without cases, I'd have to send only the disks. Are you ok with that?

I do need the artwork, but it does slip off of the cases. Will that still work for you? It might be a bit heavier than regular artwork.

Sure...ok, I can see that with a bit of brute strenght you can undo the case from the artwork...but even with that done..yes it will be costly. If I calculate, I'll get less than $4 for each movie. I'd like to keep the price of $12 to make it worth it...sorry. If you change your mind about the artwork, I'll change it to 10sb. :)

Hi. I found some stuff and probably have more to pull out - maybe next week :). If any of it sounds interesting I can list it. I have Jumpstart Music, Phonics 4 Kids, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree Animated Storybook, My First Incredible Amazing Dictionary, and Blue's ABC Time Activities. Oh, doubt you need for a girl but I have Ariel the Mermaid CD Read-Along.
I have some music CDs' for kids as well. I'll list what I have although some may be more geared for girls or younger kids. Baby's First Christmas, Disney's Classical Silly Songs, Jonah's Overboard Sing-Along (Veggie Tales), and The Young Person's Guide to the Ballet.
I think I have some Xbox and PS2 games as well. If you don't hear from me about them in a week or so and want to know more just remind me.

Most of the computer games come from a friend who used them to teach in schools for young children, so he is getting a list together for me. Are you looking for any in particular, like for a certain age or boy or girl? I'll probably just list them all but thought I would check to see what your preferences are.

Thanks for the information. I got a laugh out of it because my daughter used to love to incorporate us into her computer games when she was younger. Anyway, I never worked at the place you mentioned (as far as I know :) ). About games, though, don't know if you are interested or not, but the Winnie the Pooh with no picture listed is a computer game. Have a good one.

WELCOME to SwitchPlanet, Debra!!! I was perusing your items, and I noticed quite a few 'disc-only' items for 30 SBucs. I wanted to make sure you knew that usually that high of a price is for newer discs WITH artwork - generally the SP suggested price for 'disc only' is under 20 SBucs (depending on the item). You can, of course, set any prices you like, but I wanted to ensure you knew about the SP recommended pricing tool that pops up when you add/edit an item (on the right hand side of the screen), as staying within those parameters will often increase requests for your items. Hi Chris, I've looked over the "new members" on the forum but couldn't find anything on previous peerflix members looking at converting their peerbuxs to switchbucs. I was told by another member that you offered double value on this conversion. Is this true? How do I do it? Can you pave my path a bit so I can become a somewhat active member?!

You've likely already found the "Getting Started - New Members" thread on the SP Forum. I found the information there very helpful when I joined SP last October ... perhaps you will too.
When listing your items it's worthwhile indicating the condition in the item notes, and referring to SP's suggested prices/others' listings/amazon.com when deciding on price. Items priced too high are not likely to be requested by other switchers, and one risks neutral or negative ratings if poor condition hasn't been disclosed before sending an item.
Do hope your experience here will be good! If you have any questions about switching please feel free to post them on the SP Forum, or ask another switcher via SP's Comment feature. mld

Hello Switchers!
If you haven't already heard the news a competing service, Peerflix.com, is shutting down in April.
So that means there will be a lot of Peerflix "refugees" looking for a new home to trade their DVDs.Well I want to welcome them all to come join our trading community and I need everyones help.
To help get former Peerflix members started here at SwitchPlanet we're going to run a little promo to give them some incentive to check us out. Basically we will give them DOUBLE the amount of switchbucs that they currently have left in their Peerflix accounts. So if they have $20 worth of credits in their Peerflix account we will give them $40 worth of switchbucs in their new SwitchPlanet account. This is a great way for them to start trading right away with their new SP account!
To prove how much they have in their Peerflix accounts they will need to provide a picture of their balance screen on Peerflix and forward that to support@switchplanet.com along with their Peerflix info and their new SwitchPlanet account information so we know exactly where to credit the switchbucs. They can accomplish numerous ways but the easiest is to use the "Print Screen" button on their keyboard once viewing their account balance page and just save that screen picture somewhere on their computer. From there just forward it on to us and they're done!
So spread the news about this great oppurtunity anywhere you can so no Peerflix "refugees" miss out!
