Favorite Movies

Star Wars, The Matrix, anything fun.

Favorite TV Shows

A big, black screen. Can't stand modern TV.

Favorite Music

DMB

Favorite Games

The usual Nintendo favorites, SimCity games, adventure games. These days anything that allows a quick burst of gaming that I can drop in and out of easily.

Favorite Books

The Dark Tower series, engaging fantasy novels (not so much D&D tripe), the occasional Crichton-like thriller.

About Me

Gosh, what else do you need to know? I think all the previous stuff pretty much covers it. Oh, why I'm here: I realized a long time ago that I have too much stuff. Rather than always trying to add more stuff to that pile (and to the Earth), why not contribute some of the things I have but no longer want while getting a few things in return? Switch Planet certainly helps my DVD addiction and lets me save money and the planet's resources. Kudos!

Bladerunner in the mail. The case is apparently broken (this is what I get for buying new, right?) and won't hold the disc securely in place. I packed it in a clamshell and threw the case in anyway, if you want it.

Hi,

Blade Runner sells for $1 on Amazon would you take 9 switchbucks for it.

Thanks,

Donald

Thanks for the kind words about our recent switch. I bought a pack of 20 clamshells for about $5 at Sam's Club as well as 25 6"x9" bubble mailers. Makes this whole exchange thing easier - and less costly.

I learned that you have to go in and add your newly-received DVD as part of your available inventory. I wondered why there was no interest!

Good luck on Switching. You seem to have the right attitude.

Thanks for the feedback :). I thought about asking if you had a case for the movie. It's one of those that "unsnap" in front. Or, it works kinda okay if you trim it and use a regular case. Anyway, if you need a case maybe we can work something out.

WELCOME to SwitchPlanet!!! If you haven't already, I recommend filling out your profile a bit (your country and state/province, a bit o' basic info about yourself) and mark your profile as 'Public' rather than 'Private' so that other members can get a sense of who you are - tends to increase switch requests! Another way to increase requests for your items is to ensure your account preferences are set to switch with BOTH American and Canadian members -- there are large numbers of members in both countries, and there's very little difference in shipping costs (usually less than 20 cents more than mailing domestically). Also, you may want to check out the Fast Switchbucks X 3 Promo , and I HIGHLY recommend visiting the SP Forum, especially the Getting Started - New Members section. There's many of us old-timers who've been around longer than 2 years, and we LOVE helping out new members, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have, either by introducing yourself in the forums (a great way to encourage people to peruse your selection of items) or by clicking the 'Reply' link above this message, which will allow you to leave a comment on my profile directly. Happy Switching!!!! Redd.
