Hi there :) I received 'Garden State' but you will have to mark it as "MAILED" in order for me to leave you feedback (and then your SB's will be credited to your account). Thanks!

No problem on the DVD. Here is what you have to do... its a 2 step process, so when you dont do the second step, it thinks you havent sent the item. For incoming requests:

  • You accept the switch if you agree to it, like you did with the dvd.
  • Ship the item, and make sure to go back to the item that you shipped, and check the box for shipped.
  • So, you have check both accept and shipped in the timeframe they set in order for the system to keep your switch as active. let me know if you have any other questions, and I'll request the dvd again, and you can go ahead and show it as shipped, so that you get credit.

    I would suggest to list a couple of items that you can let go to switch/trade to get the hang of the things. And the profile, About Me does not need to be fancy....
    Check out this mom's profile...

    Hi welcome to SwitchPlanet(SP) In order to switch your stuff, users need to see your profile:-) Your profile is currently set as "Private" and no one can see it. They can add you as a friend, but users usually reserve that for people that they have already switched with. Happy Switching! Ron

    Hi, Welcome to SwitchPlanet.com !!!

    Your profile is set as (Private). No one can see your items except for members/switchers you add as (Friend). This is perfectly alright for your own private network ... However, non-(Private) switchers here usually reserve (Friend) for those that they have some good switch history already.... If you want to switch with the SP community at large, (ergo, wider audience for your stuff) other switchers need to see your profile, items....
    And if you decide to come out to not (Private) ...

    ~~~ When you have time, please fill up your profile and items to help other members know you better. === click HELP link below to get basic info.... === see the SP Forums link below and go to (NewMembers) where other veteran switchers can help answer your questions, including questions other new members have asked.... === Some general advice up front I have gathered from other new switchers... (1)Pricing...click on the item that you have set up to see how other switchers price their items. (some are reasonable prices, some are not. If none, search for similar items) (2)Note on pricing 0,1,2 Switchbuc prices, even Amazon.com charges $2.99-3.99 for shipping! So unless you're making special arrangements with the requester, I feel you should be charging at least 3 SB to cover your postage, packaging cost. Tip: Offer deals (say, Buy2, Get1 free!) in your (About Me) (3)For newbies only: You Do Not have to feel obligated to accept any requested switch until you feel comfortable in your first switch transaction. Be polite and explain/reply to their profile with something like...>> I,m new/Let me explore/I didnt know! << You can give them first option/dibs to accept your new arrangement. (4)If they are impolite (perhaps they are eager to get it), contact SUPPORT...
    Many Happy Switching!!!
