Hi,Lotsapaws ,Welcome to SwitchPlanet.com !!!
~~~ When you have time, please fill up your profile and items to help other members know and more likely to switch/SWITCH with you better. === click HELP link below to get basic info.... === see the SP Forums link below and go to (NewMembers) where other veteran switchers can help answer your questions, including questions other new members have asked.... === Some general advice up front I have gathered from other new switchers... (1)Pricing...click on the item that you have set up to see how other switchers price their items. (some are reasonable prices, some are not. If none, search for similar items) (2)Note only on items pricing 0,1,2 Switchbuc prices, (Unless you're making special arrangements with the requester) I feel, an item should have a 3 SB minimum price to cover your shipping costs. Tip: Offer deals (say, Buy1 item, Get1 item!) in your (About Me)
(3) Games Pricing ... Just to place you on even footing with the rest of Game switchers: For now/currently, latest generation games are priced a little more than recommended SP recommended prices... search/click on some similar games to see...
(4)For newbies only: You Do Not have to feel obligated to accept any requested switch until you feel comfortable in your first switch transaction. Be polite and explain/reply to their profile with something like...>> I,m new/Let me explore/I didnt know! << You can give them first option/dibs to accept your new arrangement. (5)If they are impolite (perhaps they are eager to get it), contact SUPPORT...
(6) Here's some helpful Forum tips, especially for mailing and former Pe_rf__x....
Many Happy Switching!!! Phoenix
WELCOME to SwitchPlanet!!! I might recommend filling out your profile a bit (your country and state/province, a bit o' basic info about yourself) so that other members can get a sense of who you are - tends to increase switch requests! Another way to increase requests for your items is to ensure your account preferences are set to switch with BOTH American and Canadian members -- there are large numbers of members in both countries, and there's very little difference in shipping costs (usually less than 70 cents more than mailing domestically). Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have, either by visiting the Getting Started - New Members section of the forum, or by clicking the 'Reply' link above this message, which will allow you to leave a comment on my profile directly. Happy Switching!!!! Redd.
