Looking to revitalize my CD and DVD collection and give someone else a chance to enjoy the stuff I don't listen to or watch anymore.
ATTENTION! The SWITCH Code!!! ... I price my stuff fairly and I expect the people who switch with me to do the same. If you want to switch with me you better be an honest switcher! If you have your prices above what I can go buy it new for on Amazon then don't bother requesting something from me. So stop scamming your fellow switchers and join in on the fun by adding stuff to the system and switching it for fair prices. Together we can make this an amazing place to socialize and save some cash along the way. ***ADD THIS TO YOUR PROFILE IF YOU AGREE**
Hi Neenerwags, welcome to the Switch Code Group!
If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to review the Switch Code Guidelines (accessible via the link on the group's homepage). If any questions, feel free to post them in the group, or ask another group member.
In the group's topics you'll notice there are many SC Priority DVD listings -- these are discounted newer releases available to group members on the understanding that they will be re-switched at the same or lower price (kind of like a rental that doesn't have to be returned within 24 hours!). If interested in any of these, indicating your interest within the topic will get your name on the wait list.
Many members also list in-demand items as initially available only to SC members, or to SC members and SP Friends, so as a group member you'll have a better opportunity to request some of those items.
Again, welcome to the Switch Code group, and thank you for helping make SwitchPlanet.com a more vibrant place! mld
My apologies for the delay in mailing your switch request. Thinks have been absolutely insane on this end. I have re-accepted it and expect to mail it sometime today. If you have changed your mind about this item and no longer want it, please let me know. Again, please accept my apologies. Joanne
Thanks for accepting my switch request. You may find the following information helpful when mailing to Canada. Please pass on to any American switchers who may be interested...

The following has been cut and pasted from fellow switcher "mld".
Just a thought --- one way to reduce the package size and weight might
be to put the discs in disc sleeves and use a cardboard insert in a 6 X
9 envelope. That should provide adequate protection for the discs and
artwork while still (hopefully!) keeping the weight down.
P.S. there's no need to use a customs form on non-commercial lettermail
to Canada --- many switchers just write "used DVDs, value $10" on the
envelope and that seems to work fine. For more info on this, pls see
the "Unofficial method for mailing internationally" in Ron's post on
the SP Forum:

Hello: You have requested my cd "The Very Best of Diana Krall". I don't seem to be able to access the single item you currently have for switch, which generally means that you have your profile listed as not trading with my particular Country (Canada). Please correct me if I'm wrong. If you view my profile you will see that I will only trade with Americans who return the favor, it actually costs we Canadians more to switch across the border. If you have any questions about the costs there are numerous items in the SP Forum about this particular issue. If I am correct and you do not switch with Canadians, I am sorry but I will be declining your request. Let me know. Thanks for the request. Joanne
I am actually looking for some later episodes of southpark like anywhere from 5-12. but i will go ahead and buy another volume from season one, i already have a couple but they arent as good as the later ones.
Hi, Welcome to SwitchPlanet.com !!! ~~~
When you have time, please fill up your profile and items to help other
members know and more likely to Switch/SWITCH with you better. ===
click HELP link below to get basic info.... === see the SP Forums link
below and go to >>>NewMembers<<< where other veteran
switchers can help answer your questions, including questions other new
members have asked.... === Some general advice up front I have gathered
from other new switchers... (1)Pricing...click on the item that you
have set up to see how other switchers price their items. (some are
reasonable prices, some are not. If none, search for similar items)
(2)Note only on pricing very low for less than 3 Switchbuc prices,
Price enough to recover your packaging, mailing costs. So, unless
you're making special arrangements with the requester, I feel you
should be charging at least 3 SB to cover your postage, packaging cost.
Tip: Offer a package deal (say, Buy2, Get1 free!) in your >>About
Me<< (3)For newbies only: You Do Not have to feel obligated to
accept any requested switch until you feel comfortable in your first
switch transaction. Be polite and explain/reply to their profile with
something like...>> I,m new/Let me explore/I didnt know! <<
You can give them first option/dibs to accept your new arrangement.
(4)If they are impolite (perhaps they are eager to get it), contact
SUPPORT...
... Many Happy Switching !!!
Welcome to SP...glad to see you here! I hope we can help you manage and get more out of your current media collection while also helping you discover new DVDs, CDs, Video Games and Books to add to your wish list. If you have any questions about how things work feel free to ask.
