I believe you would have been better off getting the 6' DVDs using SBs than spending $20 because SBs are really just play money, like monopoly money. They have no value outside of the SP website.
Most people list items that they dont want for SBs, then they get things that they want using SBs without having to spend cash.
I admit, the items on SPs are listed for more than their actual cash value but if everybody lists the same way, then it evens out.
For an example, you can buy most DVDs that were released +3 years ago for $5.00 (new) at Walmart or Amazon.com, but most people here still list those DVD for +15SBs (used). The video games are even worse. Most of them are listed 4x what they are worth on Amazon.com.

Here ismy opinion of the deal here. They offer a Switchbucs calculator that should be somewhere on the left side of your screen. RIght now it is at .62 dollars for 1 switchbuc. If you use this in combination with the price at amazon. (It is now set up to show you the price new, lightly used, etc. when you go to set prices on items you have.) You need to take postage into consideration for sure. Some folks think prices ought to be set or limited here. My take is, it is a free market economy. If people don't want to pay your asking price, go ahead and pay cash for it. Buy it at Amazon or wherever you want. Another factor is how bad do you need the switchbucs? It will also show you how many copies are available and for what price. I have several items that I like a lot, but would sell for x switchbucs. I am in no hurry to sell them-don't really want to. Others that I am not interested in keeping I will price below the Amazon rating, or competitively with what other people are asking, as that is listed to. When you go to listing your itmes click on the movie itself first, as if you don't have it. You will then get an indication of how many people have it, who are selling it, what the set includes(disc, artwork, and case) or less. You can also see what they charging. If you happen to have the only copy you might consider asking more, especially if you can see other people want it. People are pretty friendly for the most part here. You certainly have the opportunity to negotiate a lower price etc. Don't be afraid to make an offer. Lastly, in this run on paragraph, shipping should be done in a bubble envelope. Inside that envelope you should probably also use a plastic sleeve. That seems like quite a bit of packaging, but get used to it. Shipping anywhere close to the PF method is a no no around here. If you send disc and case it is a good idea to put a couple folded paper towels in the case (I know the MASH case is different.) It may be tight to squeeze them into a regular case, but it protects the disc should it come out during shipping. As for you answer to where this is addressed here...go to the SP Forum at the bottom of the page. That should have several different threads regarding switching and shipping. Later you may want to go to the Switcherhub where you may find a lot more in-site. Quite a bit of it is socialist. Remember this is one man's opinion. I have been wrong once before...
