Elrocho, The points I listed the dvd for were in error. I did not mean to list it so low. I have raised the points to 18 and there is another one listed at that price so you should be able to pick one or the other up next week. I am having problems with this system sometimes listing my dvd's as available when they are not and sometimes the prices also get screwed up too. I wish I knew what was causing the discrepancies.

I am retracting my positive comment on the Boston Legal season 1 set that I purchased from you at top point value of 55 points. You claimed that even though you purchased them as previous rentals the discs and covers were in tip top shape. After examination I have found the discs to be quitewell used and scratched. When I sell them I willbe truthful and ask the much lower used point price that you should have asked in the first place.

Im sorry about your unhappiness with the BL S1 DVDs.
To be honest, Id never watched the DVDs after buying it from a Hollywood Video store closure sale. I think Id paid like $10 for the entire set. I have way too many DVDs (+4000) and cant watch every one of them.
I will make it up to you by mailing you a free DVD up to 25 SBs from my list of items. You can go to my inventory or TRON's or Sam_Houston's to pick anything that you want. The other 2 switchers are my sons, whom are using my DVDs to trade for video game discs that they like.
Please e-mail me back after you make a selection and I will mail it to you directly outside of SP.

I haven't seen any trading item for item here. This isn't a swap meet ;-)
The purpose of switchbucks isto build up enough points to just buy the items other people list for switchbucks with what points you've amassed by selling your stuff for switchbucks.
Generally 1 switchbuck is about double the dollar value you could get if you sold the item for dollars. A$19.00 DVD sells for38 switchbucks. I have been a member for only a few months and havequite a few switchbucks now so it doesn't take long. I've improved my DVD collection greatly through this system.
I think it's a pretty good system. Let me know if you decide to sell the dvd for switchbucks. If not, this place is probably not for you but I'd ask the support desk for further clarification.

Hi snowflakegirl. Yes, I think I'm starting to realize that. A swap meet would have been the perfect kind of place for me!! I am real hesitant on selling my stuff for SwitchBucs because considering the items I've seen on here so far, there aren't very many things that interest me. So, trading something like a movie, (which is essentially a "global currency") for Switchbucs, which is only good at this site, may leave me with money that I can't spend if there isn't anything interesting to buy.

I just checked and found the Garcia set and 13 Moons. 13 Moons actually does come with artwork as well. There are a couple of light scratches. I am going to mail both. I will wait to accept the switch. If you get it and don't think it is worth 11 SB just keep it. If you think it is fine let me know and I will accept the trade, you confirm receipt and all is well. Hope this works for you.

That is really cool. I have never seen the movie. Let me make sure I can put my hands on the discs you requested before I accept the trade. Will also confirm 13 Moons is in great shape. You did see that it is disc and case only right? The "Shining Star" is definitely new in the wrapper still, but I want to put my hands on it. hey, riddle me this. why is it so important not to crease the artwork? i mean i don't care about artwork. i never take it out and admire it. or display it, or show it off. as far as i'm concerned it only serves to identify the disc.

I keep DVDs in their cases along with the artwork in my library and just like record collections of yore I like my collection looking new,neat and tidy. When I want to select a movie to watch I read the cover descriptions just like I would if I were perusing the collections at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video.
On occasion when I sell DVD's out of my collectionI consider the condition of the cover is just as importantas the condition of the DVD. A like new item just isn't like new if it is folded and mutilated.
I'm guessing you don't keep the DVD covers with the DVD's. So, you probably should mention that the cover isn't like new if you are going to fold it.

Hi. I received the Arrival/Arrival 2, but unfortunately, the disc arrived broken. It was quite evident from the beat up package that this occurred in transit, so I didn't want to leave you negative feedback. I have filed a claim with SP to recover my switchbucs. THe first 3 movies you asked for today have gone out priority mail today. I need to check to make sure the others are "like new". I think they are all in good shape except for the worm eaters. I checked "American Psycho and found a few light scratches on one segment of disk and a few watermark like spots. But 97% of disk surface is in like new condition. Let me know if you are still interested in receiving disk and artwork.

I just took a second look at "Whacked" and found there are light surface scratches on the playing side. It still looks good, just not like new :-(

Hi Pat, about half our items are DVDs received via SP that we haven't yet watched.Clicking on "Show Available" should display only the items that are available for immediate request.
If you let me know which non-available titles interest you, I can let you know the condition and price. Then if you're still interested I can put a note on thethe item(s) to contact you before making them available to all members.

Hi Pat, doubt you'll want either of these DVDs for your collection.
'Seven Samurai' is disc-only and has many, many scratches. 'Pulp' is in better condition, but the coverart has been folded and has two creases across the middle and one along the center of the spine.
Strange that you're not able to view available only.I checked your items and got a 24 pg. listing (235 items) when I clicked on "Show All" and a 20 pg. listing (199 items) when I clicked on "Show Available" so it seems to work on your items.
I wonder if perhaps there's something wrong with my profile settings that prevent you from seeing only my available items. Thx, mld.

Snowflake,The Phantom from 10,000 Leagueshas a few minute scratches or blemishes. Overall, it looks in good condition. The ARC version of this movie was suggesting 13 SB for Like New. I'm only asking 8. I'll let you make the call. Let me know and thanks for your interest.

I sent the game when you last asked I don't know why you haven't recieved it. I will goto the post office tomorrow and see if I can find out what happened. I did insure it so at least I can file a claim. A had 2 copies of this game and I was gonna keep one butI will send out my other copy tomorrow while I wait on the claim with the post office. I am sorry that you didn't get the game and I will try to correct this problem.

Sorry about not responding sooner. I drive for a living and I don't always have internet access. I sent it out around the end of last month I don't know the exact date as I don't have my receipt with me. When I send theother one tomorrow I will get a tracking number for you. That way at least we can track this one and hopefully it will get to you. Again I am sorry about this mixup I guess I should've added a tracking number tothe lastone.

Had a quick question. I received the DVD for The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery today. Thanks for that!
However, there was also artwork for the Tom Hanks' flick Mazes and Monsters. If that was a bonus disc, thank you very much. But I'm guessing it was included accidentally. Should it be heading elsewhere? Or was it supposed to stay home with you?

Hi Snowflake,
I read your message regarding not to ship if there are any scratches. Big Nothing has a few marks but plays flawlessly. I guess to me that is more important than how the disc looks cosmetically. Anyhow, Blind Horizon is virtually spot free, and certainly plays perfectly(as does Big Nothing.) Anyway, enjoy and thanks for the switch!

I would not call it new condition. I would rather not send, than to send something you are unhappy with. I have traded a hundreds of dvds here..some of them in pristine condition, some of them with some scratches. If they call within what I consider an acceptable range I don't have a problem with them. Anyway, I hope the one I am sending is ok. Maybe we can switch more in the future. Have a great weekend!

It looks almost perfect, like a mirror. Except for one almost unnoticeable scratch, witch doesn't affect play. Hope that helps. Thanks!
