The disc arrived a bit the worse for wear (extensive transit scratches and slightly crumpled artwork from USPS machinery that might have been prevented with more secure packaging) and it would have been nice to know that the artwork was designed for an extra thin DVD case before requesting. That said, the disc is playable and the price in switchbucs was not excessive.

Is there a reason that you tape the artwork? My concern is that it could damage it when you peel the tape off. Is there a way you could ship without taping the artwork?

I prefer to secure the dvd in one place and keep it from moving around and getting by the stamp where it could be cracked by some postal clerk hand stamping the stamp. The tape usually pulls off the inside of the artwork with no problem and even if it pulled a little bit of the inside paper its no big deal.

thank you for the thoughts and prayers. she has mostly good days, but is tired a couple times a week more quickly then she use to be. she is taking a steroid treatment once a month until after the holidays and we will re-evaluate then. she gain 85% of her vision back in her right eye which was such a concern =). thank you =)

Presidential election is DONE! Hoping against 60 vote filibuster proof majority at this point....although 58 will probably get them where they want with the a couple limp wristed so-called republicans in the senate.

Shoot! Sorry about that. I used an old priority mail box someone else had used. They did not send priority either and had marked out the priority mail words, but I guess the PO did not notice that. I was in a hurry to get it off as well and did not double-check to see how well the words were covered. Anyway, maybe they would not charge if you explain it was media mail (as marked on the package). I hate that you have to go pick it up, and I would be glad to reimburse you in SB or money for the postage you have to pay. Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Go Palin is right! I just attended the big rally event here in Fairfax County today. Boy are they energized. The tides are turning my friend! There were 24,000 strong in attendance. Among other speakers we had Fred Thompson as a special guest who introduced McCain / Palin.....anyway, in regards to the "A" Club I don't think I can join it because I use my list to track certain movies that I own but do not plan on parting with. I think I have enough so as people might find things they want....but if those are the rules I need to back out. Thanks for keeping me in mind.

That's fine, bro. I was trying to find ways to encourage making items active and available. I don't belong with some of the other codes either because I don't feel I fit into the rules either.
Great news on Palin and the rally! I was a Thompson man until he dropped out of the race. The Palin pick has energized me and many Republicans.

I have been trading these things for years now. As far as I know I have only sent a disc to the wrong person 2 times. Unfortunately the person who was supposed to get it both times is this guy. He's a real nice guy and I am discounting it half price because of my screw up. You could probably watch it real quick over the weekend before sending on though. If you can spot me the postage I will mail it to you Monday. If you prefer for me to send it first I don't mind either. My guess is it probably will cost $1.85 for the disc and case in a bubble mailer. Thanks for your trouble. I appreciate it and all the great trades.

I had a great vacation...although now it seems like I never left! I have been in the process of moving my discs. I have 3 of the 5 discs ready to send you. I believe you requested the Hitchhiker before and I said I would tell you when it turns up. I think I traded that on Swapadvd. I will go ahead and dlete it off my list. The other one you asked for this time I am having trouble finding is Woman Hunted. I think I still have, but am declining temporarily. Sorry for the inconvenience. The 3 discs that are ready will go out tomorrow...or the next day at the latest.

I just think a neutral rating was a little harsh especially since the DVD was ok. It was protected by the paper sleeve, the artwork,and the other sheet packaging I included. I know USPS can be rough with stuff, but this saves a bundle on shipping. Have a good weekend,

2 comments. If I requested a DVD from someone, and it was listed, slimcase with artwork. I would expect the artwork to be trimmed to fit the slimcase. I, eagledave, used to be Eagle Dave at peerflix.
