Hi Valo, the request you accepted wasn't marked as mailed within 5 days so it's been cancelled. If you mailed the DVD but forgot to mark it as such, please let me know. Thx, mld

Hi, Welcome to SwitchPlanet.com !!! ~~~

When you have time, please fill up your profile and items to help other
members know and more likely to Switch/SWITCH with you better. ===
click HELP link below to get basic info.... === see the SP Forums link
below and go to >>>NewMembers<<< where other veteran
switchers can help answer your questions, including questions other new
members have asked.... === Some general advice up front I have gathered
from other new switchers... (1)Pricing...click on the item that you
have set up to see how other switchers price their items. (some are
reasonable prices, some are not. If none, search for similar items)
(2)Note only on pricing very low for less than 3 Switchbuc prices,
Price enough to recover your packaging, mailing costs. So, unless
you're making special arrangements with the requester, I feel you
should be charging at least 3 SB to cover your postage, packaging cost.
Tip: Offer a package deal (say, Buy2, Get1 free!) in your >>About
Me<< (3)For newbies only: You Do Not have to feel obligated to
accept any requested switch until you feel comfortable in your first
switch transaction. Be polite and explain/reply to their profile with
something like...>> I,m new/Let me explore/I didnt know! <<
You can give them first option/dibs to accept your new arrangement.
(4)If they are impolite (perhaps they are eager to get it), contact
SUPPORT...

... Many Happy Switching !!!

To lower a DVD or another item, once logged in, click on Items above the SwitchPlanet logo next to Switches. Find Dude, Where's My Car. Click on edit. Then at the next screen, under the movie art click edit under where it says the disc price. Then, put in desired amount, click save item, not add item.

Valo, welcome to SwitchPlanet! Hope your experience here will be good.

Just a heads-up in case you haven't previously mailed DVDs in their original cases. Mailing a 1-disc ediiton with case to the US is $3.20 (100g - 200 g); 2-disc editions sometimes weigh more than 200g, for which Canada Post's letter-post rate is currently$6.40.

If you're ok with that, great.

An alternative is to list disc(s) and artwork only, and use a clamshell to protect the disc(s). Mailing rates for sending DVDs to the US this way are currently $1.15 (standard size, 30g - 50g) and $1.92 (non-standard size, up to 100g).

Again, hope your experience here will be good. If you have any questions about switching, don't hesitate to post them on the SP forum or ask another switcher.
