"* deleted the original review, it probably had some spoilers and I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone, sorry. Below is spoiler-free review. Where's the once talented director, who made movies like The Devil's Rejects? He certaintly didn't seem to be present in this movie, this crap is like something Uwe Boll would direct, except more gory. Rob Zombie got more emotional with this movie, which is a bad thing for any slasher flick. We want to see blood, not human feelings. One thing is for sure, it definately won't replace John Carpenter's cult classic. Too many unneccessary scenes (esp. on the unrated version) and leaves a lot of plot holes. Don't waste your time."

"wow, gotta love Rob's version and vision!"

"I loved this movie, it was easily Rob Zombie's best work so far!!"

"This was one truly pathetic movie. Not being a fan of the horror genre, in particular the "slasher" film, I can still appreciate a well-done psychologically scary movie. This one fails badly, IMHO."
